Domain Films was a team-based full-stack software engineering project centered on building a film streaming platform. As team lead, I helped guide both the technical direction and the development workflow.
What I Worked On
- led a five-person team through development of the platform
- supported a responsive user interface and dynamic application behavior
- contributed to the database-backed architecture and feature implementation
- helped implement recommendation-oriented functionality
- used Agile-style workflow and team coordination during development
Technical Focus
This project involved balancing frontend usability with backend structure and team execution. It required coordinating development across multiple contributors while keeping the product organized and functional.
The work also reinforced the importance of maintainable architecture, team communication, and iterative development when building a full-stack application with multiple moving parts.
What I Learned
This project strengthened my experience leading team-based software development and building full-stack applications that connect UI, backend logic, and persistent data. It also gave me more practice working in an Agile-style environment and thinking about product structure beyond just code implementation.
